Trainee Maritime & Safety Instructors Required
DETAILS: We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic individual to join our team full-time.
The position will include development across the training courses with the aim of becoming an instructor of multiple disciplines.
Bristol Maritime (BM) is part of a group that includes BM Safety (Industrial water safety, access, and Pontoon). With a global reach and diverse offerings, we are now looking for someone to deliver high-quality training.
EMPLOYMENT TERM: Full-Time, Permanent
PAY: £19,500 - £23,500 per year
PRIMARY WORK ADDRESS: Bristol Maritime Academy, Underfall Yard, Cumberland Road, Bristol, BS1 6XG.
SECONDARY WORK ADDRESS: We run water safety training across the UK and have the ability to bring the training to their site or office. This role has the opportunity to train across our sites.
HOURS OF WORK: 0830hrs to 1700hrs, flexible
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: No required qualifications.
BENEFITS: Training and Instructor progression are available across multiple disciplines.

Water Safety Instructors Required
DETAILS: We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic Water Safety Instructor to join our team full-time.
The position will include the delivery of RLSS and RLSS DEFRA Water Safety courses such as Water Safety Awareness.

EMPLOYMENT TERM: Full-Time, Permanent
PAY: £24,500 - £26,500 per year
PRIMARY WORK ADDRESS: Bristol Maritime Academy, Underfall Yard, Cumberland Road, Bristol, BS1 6XG.

RYA First Aid Instructor, RYA VHF/SRC Assessor, RYA Powerboat Instructor, RLSS DEFRA Water Safety Instructor or equivalent

Operations Manager Required
DETAILS: We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic Operations Manager to lead and develop our BM Safety operations, specializing in industrial water safety, access, and pontoons. This varied role offers the opportunity to drive safety excellence while overseeing the day-to-day management of sites, staff, and equipment.
BM Safety is part of a wider group that includes BM Training (leisure and commercial training). With a global reach and diverse offerings, we are now seeking a dedicated leader to focus on BM Safety’s industrial operations, ensuring the highest standards in water safety, access solutions, and pontoon management.
EMPLOYMENT TERM: Full-Time, Permanent
PAY: £26,500 - £28,500 per year
PRIMARY WORK ADDRESS: Bristol Maritime Academy, Underfall Yard, Cumberland Road, Bristol, BS1 6XG.
HOURS OF WORK: 0800hrs to 16300hrs, flexible
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: First Aid, RYA Powerboat Level 2
It is your responsibility to ensure these qualifications remain valid and in date.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: These could be but are not limited to:
Outdoor First Aid, RYA VHF/SRC or higher, powerboat commercial endorsement, RLSS DEFRA Water Safety Module 2 or equivalent.
