Water Safety Training - DEFRA Aligned Module 3 also covers boat and pathway handling, basic line-rescue techniques, and the assessment of hazards associated with still water and unstable ground, such as mud and ice.Â
Course Structure: The course runs over four days in person, with a split between theory and practical each day.
Course Assessment: To achieve the DEFRA Module 3: Water & Flood Rescue Technician certificate, candidates must pass an ongoing assessment throughout the course, comprising verbal questioning and practical demonstrations.
