The RYA SRC/VHF Exam is comprised of a written theory test and practical assessment in the use of Marine VHF DSC radios and GMDSS Equipment.

Please ensure you have registered for your SRC Exam, directly with the RYA. By completing this online application here. The RYA charge £70 for the exam. 

If you have completed your RYA SRC/VHF course on the RYA Interactive website through Bristol Maritime Academy then you will have received a code that will allow you to book your exam with us free of charge. 

For those who have used external providers Bristol Maritime Academy charge £10 for your exam and you will need to bring your SRC exam eligibility form with you on the day.  

Please note, you must bring a printed copy of the RYA EXAM REPORT CARD with you on the day, or you will not be able to sit the exam.
