RYA POWERBOAT COURSES

We have developed RYA Powerboat Courses bespoke for the working environment to assist organisations who need powerboats and drivers for their operations. We utilise not only the surrounding water ways to give the most rounded driving experience possible but we also train in both 6m Rigid Inflatables and Tiller steer smaller boats. Our team train beginners to advanced powerboat drivers with courses that include basic driving skills, coastal passages and night navigation. We run all the RYA Powerboat Training including RYA Powerboat Level 2 / ICC, RYA Intermediate Powerboat and RYA Advanced Powerboat Courses. We can also add bespoke training to these courses depending on the equipment and environment your team will be working in.

RYA SHORT RANGE RADIO (SRC/VHF) COURSES

When using radios on the water the RYA SRC/VHF radio course will teach you everything you need to know about protocol and how to use the the radios. This specialist course is run over 1 day and includes a an exam at the end which you can book directly with the RYA (just follow the instructions sent to you when booking the course). Using specifically adapted radios in the classroom environment gives the perfect start to understanding how the radios work and can be used.

RYA/MCA FIRST AID COURSES

The RYA and MCA First Aid courses are 1-day courses which cover all the general RYA, MCA and HSE first aid requirements, however, the First Aid training is more specific to water users or those going to sea as well as anyone working in or around water. The courses cover areas including drowning, cold water shock, sea sickness, dehydration and hypothermia. They are only one-day courses but could save yours or a crew members life. These courses are aimed at anyone who gets afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages. Immediate action in an emergency at sea can save lives.
