UK & Overseas Centre Development

Many hotels with waterfront premises are missing out on significant revenue opportunity by not having a watersports provision or by using a third party concessionaire to run a facility, the Bristol Maritime Academy specialises in the provision of high quality watersports for high end hotels worldwide.

A professional facility should be run with the hotel having complete control of provision and standards of delivery to guests. This ensures that the hotel's objectives can be clearly met - improved revenue, quality of service, quality and choice of activities and above all, safety. Revenue comes from a mix of equipment hire and scheduled lessons for adults and children, by qualified instructors.

A properly set up watersports facility can provide many things to a hotel - significant income, additional food and beverage sales from guests choosing to stay on site because of the activities on offer, increased marketing opportunities, greater referrals, greater repeat bookings etc.

Centre Training

Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Al Bida'a – Gary Morran, General Manager
“Having a professional, self contained watersports centre gives us a unique package. It is imperative we make use of all our resources to deliver the best onsite products to our guests and members. With real professionalism and unsurpassed expertise Blueprint Watersports has given us the best way forward to do this.”

ECE - Mike Clarke, Managing Director
“The brief that we gave Blueprint Watersports was clear and concise.  Our aim was to have a safety policy that would be an integral part of our operations procedures and in which could be referred to in the course of our staff's working day rather than a manual that gathered dust on a bookshelf.

I am delighted to say that the final result exceeded our expectations and provided real help and assistance to our staff when needed and in turn providing a process for us to regularly review our procedures.”

RS Sailing – Riki Hooker Sales, Director
“Having a company like Blueprint using our products really gives us the best and most professional shop window we can ask for. Together using our hardware and their software we know we can deliver the best sailing package in the world. Blueprint Watersports are at the forefront of the industry and we can only benefit from that”
